Charlton Bariatrics is a weight loss center dedicated to help patients improve their health and wellness. Weight loss surgery can be a highly effective treatment for morbid obesity when used appropriately. We strive to provide every patient with the tools they need to make lifestyle changes that will improve their overall health, their quality of life and keep the weight off.

The Charlton Bariatrics surgical team is led by Dr. Manuel Castro, a bariatric surgeon with more than 20 years of experience. He has performed over 4,500 weight loss procedures over the course of his career and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Our facility is equipped to perform several types of bariatric procedures, including gastric sleeve, Adjustable Gastric Band, gastric bypass, revision operations and gastric balloons.

Located in Dallas, Charlton Bariatrics serves patients from the greater DFW area and Texas. We are close to the following towns: Duncanville, Cedar Hill, De Soto, Lancaster, Grand Prairie, Arlington, Mansfield, Midlothian, Red Oak, and surrounding areas.

Manuel E. Castro, MD, has more than 20 years of experience as a bariatric surgeon and has performed more than 4,500 surgical weight loss procedures. He has also been recognized in D Magazine as one of the “Best Doctors in Dallas” since 2011.
