James (Jim) Scoggin, Jr. joined Methodist Health System in April 2019 as the organization's CEO. Scoggin's healthcare career started in 1980 with Humana.  After seven years with Humana in positions including hospital chief financial officer and chief operating officer, he joined Methodist Hospital in San Antonio as chief operating officer in 1987 where he served for eight years until the formation of Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio in 1995.  At that time, he was appointed CEO of Methodist Hospital in San Antonio and later assumed responsibility for two additional hospitals.  In 2000, Scoggin became executive vice president of the Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio.  After six years in that role, he was promoted to president of the North Texas Division of HCA, a position he held until his retirement in September 2013.

President and Chief Operating Officer, Methodist Health System

Pamela Stoyanoff, MBA, CPA and FACHE is currently President and Chief Operating Officer for the 10 hospital Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas. In that role she is leads strategic planning for the system and provides operational leadership for its hospitals, joint ventures and medical group. She is passionate about the Quadruple Aim and improving health by leading efforts that help to reduce health disparities.

She has been a member of numerous Boards and current serves on the Dallas Ft. Worth Hospital Council Education and Foundation Board, Business Council for the Arts Board and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Finance Committee.

Prior to coming to Dallas, Pam was the Chief Financial Officer for the St. Vincent Health System (4 hospitals) in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois and began her career at Arthur Anderson & Co.

Pam has her BS in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, is a CPA and has her Masters degree from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, Illinois. She is also a FACHE.

Pam has spoken around the country on many topics including revenue cycle management, robotics, cost reduction strategies and diversity in healthcare supply procurement.

She has been voted one of the top “100 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review , one of the top 25 Women in Business in Dallas/Ft. Worth by the Dallas Business Journal and was also selected by the Dallas Business Journal as a Health Care Hero (in recognition of contributions toward improving health care in North Texas).

Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Methodist Health System

Mickey Price has served as chief legal officer and executive vice president for legal affairs at Methodist Health System since 2000. He provides legal counsel on various business and health law matters to our management and various boards including our corporate board of directors. He also oversees our legal affairs department and corporate risk management team, and directs our business ethics committee.

Price's past professional roles include assistant general counsel at Baylor Health Care System and partner with the firm Burford & Ryburn, LLP. He is licensed by the State Bar of Texas, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. His memberships include the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the Dallas Bar Association.

Price graduated cum laude from West Chester State University in Pennsylvania, and received his law degree from Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas.

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Methodist Health System

Craig has been with Methodist Health System since 2016, originally joining the organization as the system Senior Vice President of Finance.  Prior to Methodist, Craig was a system vice president and controller for OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio from 2002 to 2016. Craig is a certified public accountant and worked at Ernst and Young and Arthur Andersen in their audit practices prior to joining OhioHealth.

Craig earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.

Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Pam McNutt is senior vice president and chief information officer for Methodist Health System. McNutt's experience in the field of health care information technology spans nearly 30 years, the last 18 of which have been in the role of CIO at Methodist. Prior to joining Methodist in 1993, she worked for Medicus/HBOC and Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.

McNutt is a fellow of both the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). She is also actively involved with the Healthcare Information Systems Executives Association. She currently serves on the CHIME board of trustees and is a former director for the HIMSS national board.

McNutt has been nationally recognized for her work. She is the 2002 John Gall CIO of the Year, and received the HIMSS Leadership Award in 2001 and the HIMSS Information Systems Award in 1998. She participated as a faculty member for the CHIME Healthcare CIO Boot Camp 2003-2006. In 2010 McNutt was named a "Rising Star to Watch" by Healthcare IT News.

McNutt has been named one of the Top 25 Women in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare several times. She was also honored among "56 Women Hospital & Health care Leaders to Know" by Becker's Hospital Review magazine.

McNutt currently serves as a member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council Data Initiative Executive Committee, and a member of the State of Texas' Health Care Information Council Hospital Data Collection Workgroup. She holds a BBA degree in statistics and marketing from the University of Texas at Austin, and has pursued postgraduate studies in management information systems at George Washington University.

President, Methodist Health System Foundation

James “Jim” M. Johnston, became President of Methodist Health System Foundation in November 2016.

Prior to his role at Methodist Foundation, Jim’s 40-year career in the Dallas banking industry started with Republic Bank of Texas where he served in various corporate executive positions. He was subsequently named regional chairman of Frost Bank, and board vice chairman for Bank of Texas.

Jim, originally from Coleman, Texas, attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) on a football scholarship where he received a BA in Marketing and an MBA in Finance. His involvement with his alma mater has continued including roles as chairman of the SMU Mustang Club, of the Letterman’s Association, of the Planned Giving Council, of the Athletics Hall of Fame, and serves on the Executive Board of the Cox School of Business. He has also served in leadership positions with the Arthritis Foundation of North Texas, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Salesmanship Club of Dallas, Special Olympics of Texas, and Goodwill Industries of Dallas, and the Goodwill Foundation. He also serves as an elder at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, and on the board of the HPPC Foundation.

Outside of work and community service, Jim loves spending time with his family: wife Suzanne; daughters Michelle, Chandler, and Cindy; and grandchildren. Jim also enjoys golfing, traveling, reading, and supporting the SMU Mustangs.

Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Methodist Health System

Cheryl Flynn joined Methodist Health System as senior vice president of human resources in August 2013. In her role, Flynn serves as Methodist’s lead executive responsible for strategic transformational leadership. She develops policy, and directs all human resources activities for Methodist Health System including recruitment, employee relations, employee satisfaction, compensation, benefits, leadership training and development, work community of choice initiatives, and employee health services.

Prior to joining Methodist, Flynn served as chief human resources officer for NCH Corporation in Irving, a global company with 8,500 employees in 52 countries. Prior to NCH, she spent the majority of her career with LSG Sky Chefs in a variety of progressively more responsible roles, concluding with senior vice president of human resources for the Americas region during which she oversaw all human resources activities for more than 90 locations in North and South America.

Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute.

Chief Medical Officer, Methodist Health System

Martin L. Koonsman, MD, FACS,CPE is Methodist Health System’s Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Koonsman has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years as a general surgeon, and he has an impressive history of leadership with Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

Dr. Koonsman most recently served as president of Methodist Dallas. Prior to being named president, he served as the chief medical officer for the campus, working with all medical staff to advance the quality of care provided and services offered.

Dr. Koonsman graduated from Texas A&M University in 1984 and from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 1988. He then came to Methodist Dallas for a five-year residency in general surgery and stayed with the organization to practice medicine. Dr. Koonsman is a Certified Physician Executive, as designated by the American Association for Physician Leadership.

Dr. Koonsman has served as chair of the department of surgery, president of the Methodist Dallas medical staff, chairman of the corporate medical board for Methodist Health System, member of the board of directors for Methodist Health System, member of the board of directors for the Methodist Patient Centered ACO and member of the board of directors for Dallas Methodist Physicians Network.

Dr. Koonsman is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Breast Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, and Dallas County Medical Society.

President, Methodist Charlton Medical Center

Fran Laukaitis became president of Methodist Charlton Medical Center in March 2015. Prior to being named president, Laukaitis served as interim president and chief nursing officer at Methodist Charlton. Laukaitis is the first registered nurse (RN) to become president of a Methodist Health System facility.

During her time at Methodist Charlton, Laukaitis has been instrumental in improving the quality of care provided to all patients. The number of patients who leave the emergency department without being seen has been greatly reduced. Patient satisfaction results have improved dramatically. New units, such as the intermediate care unit, have been opened to better serve the needs of the hospital’s population. Joint Commission surveys have been successful and Methodist Charlton now has a STEMI program for fast heart attack care, as well as primary stroke accreditation. All of these combined help raise the bar for quality and solidify Methodist Charlton's position in its market as a competitive leader.

Laukaitis began her nursing career with hospitals throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida and Texas. Her first chief nursing officer role was in 1999 in Kalispell, Montana. After spending seven years in that role, she was promoted to the chief operating officer for the same facility where she served an additional four years. In 2010, she joined Methodist Charlton as chief nursing officer.

President, Methodist Dallas Medical Center

John Phillips is president of Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Philips has been a member of the Methodist family since 2011, having served seven years as president of Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, where he oversaw operations of a 254-bed non-profit acute care hospital with more than 1,000 employees and 200 physicians. Phillips was instrumental in leading and growing the hospital, which achieved Magnet designation for excellence in nursing during his time as president.

Phillips is leading the development of the new Methodist Midlothian Medical Center. In 2017, he led Methodist Mansfield Medical Center’s new $11.8-million professional office building, and in 2015, the facility opened the $118-million Amon G. Carter Foundation Heart and Vascular Center and patient tower.

Phillips earned a MBA from Hardin-Simmons University and a Master of Health Care Administration from Trinity University.

President, Methodist Richardson Medical Center

E. Kenneth Hutchenrider joined Methodist Health System as president of Methodist Richardson Medical Center in July 2010.

Prior to joining Methodist, Hutchenrider served as chief executive officer of Community Health Systems’ Galesburg Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois. While at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, he substantially increased financial stability and strengthened the management team and medical staff. Before serving at Galesburg, Mr. Hutchenrider was chief executive officer for Terre Haute Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. He has also served in leadership roles at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kansas, Columbia Davis Hospital in Layton, Utah, and Humana Hospital in Clear Lake, Texas.

Hutchenrider holds a BA from Texas A&M University and a master's degree in healthcare administration from the University of Houston Clear Lake.

President, Methodist Southlake Hospital

John McGreevy, CPA, FHFMA, president of Methodist Southlake Hospital, brings many years of successful experience growing strategically significant hospitals. Before joining Methodist on March 30, 2017, John spent six years at Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals & Clinics in East Texas. He joined Trinity Mother Frances in August 2011 as chief executive officer of the Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital. Under John’s leadership The Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital was cited by ConsumerReports and The Society for Thoracic Surgeons as one of only 15 hospitals in the United States to earn top scores for both bypass & valve surgery. In 2013, McGreevy was promoted to chief executive officer of Tyler hospital operations, including oversight of Mother Frances Hospital, the system’s 472-bed flagship hospital.

Immediately prior to his arrival in Tyler, McGreevy served eight years as the chief executive officer of Lubbock Heart Hospital. During his tenure in Lubbock, he successfully orchestrated the $40 million construction of a new facility and recruited a seasoned leadership team. Under his guidance, Healthgrades ranked Lubbock Heart Hospital number one in Texas and top 5% in the nation for cardiac service, with the hospital ranking in the 90th percentile nationally for patient satisfaction.

McGreevy earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He is a certified public accountant, and member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He and his wife Teresa are both Kansas natives, have been married for 36 years and have 4 grown children.

President, Methodist Medical Group

George Williams joined Methodist Health System in January 2016 as President of the Methodist Medical Group and Senior Vice President for Physician Services. Methodist Medical Group is the multi-specialty physician group affiliated with Methodist Health System and is comprised of 130 medical providers and over 450 total employees.

Under Dr. Williams’ leadership, Methodist Medical Group has reorganized its committee structure and closely aligned its strategic objectives with those of the Methodist Health System. The medical group endeavors to accentuate the system’s commitment to continuous quality improvement, patient experience, financial stewardship, innovation, employee engagement, and leadership development.

Dr. Williams was previously employed by the MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Washington. He served as the senior physician executive providing operational, clinical, and strategic leadership for MultiCare’s Neurosciences, Surgery, Cancer, Women’s Health, and Cardiovascular Carelines.

Prior to 2011, Dr. Williams practiced emergency medicine with the St. Joseph Mercy Health System in southeast Michigan. Simultaneously, he was appointed to the Board of Emergency Physicians Medical Group and elected Chief of Staff at St. Joseph Mercy Saline Hospital. He has held multiple emergency department medical directorships and provided medical leadership for the Observation Unit and Chest Pain Center at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also served in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps.

His educational accomplishments include attending Baylor University, obtaining a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and completing emergency medicine residency training at the University of Michigan. In 2010, he earned a Masters of Medical Management degree from the University of Southern California. Dr. Williams is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Administrative Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Association for Physician Leadership.
