Quality and Patient Data
Hospital Compare
In an effort to increase transparency, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services [CMS] has worked over the years to increase the availability of healthcare quality information to the general public. Hospital Compare is the result of these efforts, allowing consumers to search for and compare hospitals based on their performance on key clinical effectiveness, patient safety, and patient satisfaction outcomes.
Texas Health Care Information Collection (THCIC)
Created by the 74th Texas Legislature in 1995, THCIC’s intent is to collect information and provide consumers with cost and quality performance data for hospitals across the state.
The Joint Commission (TJC)
Often known for their healthcare accreditation services, TJC also hosts a website that enables consumers to compare hospitals on their quality of care using data that is submitted directly to TJC as well as each hospital’s achievement of additional certifications.

Where an ominous cloud reveals a silver lining.
Where care is our calling.
