    Evan Mar, MD, received her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at CHRISTUS Good Shepard Medical Center through the University of Texas Health Northeast. As a result of her outstanding work and dedication during her residency, Dr. Mar was granted the selective opportunity to serve as Chief Resident. Dr. Mar has special interests in internal palliative care, acute care, heart failure, addiction medicine, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

    As an Arkansas native, Dr. Mar is an avid Razorback football fan. She has traveled to numerous countries all over the world, and also enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and walking her dog Mack.
