Hospital Affiliations Profile Video Bio Manavjot (Mj) Sidhu, MD, FACC, FASE, FASNC, FSCCT, FACP, RPVI, has been practicing as a cardiologist since 2015, and serves as the Medical Director of Cardiology Administrative Services and Cardiac Imaging at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
Dr. Sidhu earned his medical degree from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Punjab, India. Following graduation, Dr. Sidhu completed his Internal Medicine Internship from Guthrie/ Robert Packer Hospital in Pennsylvania and his Internal Medicine Residency from the University of Missouri. With his sights set on becoming a specialist, Dr. Sidhu pursued an Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, as well as a Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri.
During this time, Dr. Sidhu was granted the prestigious Henry Christian Award for academic accomplishments from the American Federation of Medical Research, the Young Investigator Award for clinical research from the American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin, and the Myears Family Research Grant for clinical research from the University of Missouri. He has presented his work at national and international cardiology conferences and won several awards for his work including travel awards. Dr. Sidhu is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the National Board of Echocardiography, the Certification Board of Cardiac Computed Tomography, the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine, and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Imaging (RPVI). He is a Diplomate of National Board of Echocardiography, Certification Board of Cardiac Computed Tomography and Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He continues to be a reviewer of several cardiology journals and also for national abstract competition of American Heart Association (AHA).
His clinical focus and specialties include echocardiography, stress testing, advanced cardiac imaging, preventive cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and sports cardiology. Other areas of interest include coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, peripheral vascular disease, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, heart failure, and adult congenital heart disease.
In addition to his clinical pursuits, Dr. Sidhu is fluent in Punjabi and enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, running, and catching up on TV shows.
