    Michael McInnis, MD, grew up in Arlington, Texas, and studied chemistry at Southern Methodist University. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (now McGovern Medical School). He then completed his residency in internal medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Prior to joining Methodist Mansfield Medical Group, Dr. McInnis was in private practice in Arlington, and also worked as an educator for an online review course for physicians.

    Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. McInnis focuses on preventive medicine and the diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases, including diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. He is a resident of Mansfield and is heavily involved with local organizations such as his church’s music ministry, Cub Scouts, and a bible study group. He enjoys gardening, music, and travel.
