    Illinois native Monica Phillips, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, began her healthcare career in 2005 as an IT project manager, before becoming a registered nurse, and advancing to a nurse practitioner. Monica initially earned a bachelor’s degree in health information management from Illinois State University. Mrs. Phillips’ nursing career started at UT Southwestern after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas Arlington. She continued her clinical education and training while completing a Master of Science in Nursing degree, also from the University of Texas Arlington. Mrs. Phillips has a passion for emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention through patient education for patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include preventive care, acute, and chronic disease management for all members of the family.

    Monica Phillips is an Advanced Practice Provider licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing and certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

    Mrs. Phillips lives with her husband, two sons, and dog Phin in Mansfield and enjoys traveling, trying new local restaurants, outdoor activities, group fitness classes, and running.
