Hospital Affiliations Bio Shaun Garff, DO, completed his fellowship in sports medicine at Utah Valley Sports Medicine in Provo, Utah. He previously completed a family medicine residency at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine, Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Garff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University. He is board certified in sports medicine, osteopathic manipulative treatment, and family medicine.
Dr. Garff has served as a team physician for Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University, as well as the Duncanville Independent School District. He has volunteered to provide medical coverage at numerous sports events, including the St. George Ironman, AT&T Byron Nelson, and the Phoenix Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon. Dr. Garff has conducted clinical research into the awareness of symptoms and effects of concussions among high school athletes.
