Methodist Dallas - OBGYN Residency accepts three residents into the program each year. All applicants must use the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) system. We participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for all of our training positions.
ERAS applications will open to all programs for review on October 21, 2020
Application Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduates of medical schools in the United States and Canada accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) OR
- Graduates of colleges of osteopathic medicine in the United States accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- USMLE Step I & Step II completion – minimum score of 225
- US Citizen or permanent resident
*At this time we do not accept IMG applications*
Application should include:
- Completed ERAS application
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE Step I & II scores
- Minimum of two Letters of Recommendations
- Department Chair LoR preferred - but not required
- Personal Statement
Interviews
In accordance with the Recommended Standards for the Ob-Gyn Application and Interview Processes, interviews will be done virtually this year
- Interview offers will be released November 10th & November 17th
- Communication will be made through ERAS Scheduler and directly from Ashley Alvarez, Program Coordinator for OBGYN Residency
- Interviews will be conducted over Zoom
- Current residents will host a Virtual Meet & Greet the evening before interviews.
2020-2021 Interview Dates:
- November 23
- December 7
- December 14
- January 11
- January 18
Interview days will be split into morning and afternoon sessions. You will interview with our Program Director, one full-time faculty member, and one upper-level resident.
