A Blessing to have Volunteers at Methodist Mansfield

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center’s Director of Community Relations and Marketing

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is blessed to have a dedicated corps of 150 volunteers who strive to have a positive impact on people’s lives, giving their time and talent to make our hospital a better place for our patients, their families, our employees, and our community.

These volunteers are true servants who give of themselves to lift the spirits of others during a difficult time, offer companionship to patients and families, and support the hospital in fundraising and administrative efforts. One of our hospital’s most important assets, these volunteers play an indispensable role, providing more than 14,170 hours of service last year alone.

Passionate about their calling of service, volunteers touch the lives of others with acts of kindness, generosity, and compassion. They are essential in almost every area of the hospital, from fundraising and operating the gift shop to assisting visitors, patients, and staff and even providing scholarship funds, having distributed $8,000 to deserving employees thanks to the generous contribution of the Linda Hopton Jones family.

During National Volunteer Week, April 12 through 18, we take time to honor our volunteers by shining a spotlight on their work and thanking them for their crucial role in providing compassionate, quality health care. Methodist Mansfield volunteers are true blessings in our community who give of themselves and help make life shine bright for all of us. Let’s all take a moment this week to recognize and thank our volunteers.

Methodist Mansfield is proud to be a part of Mansfield, Johnson, Ellis and Tarrant Counties. We would love to help your family live a healthier, happier life.
