SammonsTurnsOne celebration!

On July 28, 2015, Methodist Dallas Medical Center celebrated the first birthday of the Charles A. Sammons Tower, the first patient care tower in Dallas devoted to emergency, trauma and critical care.

This one-of-a-kind, six story, 248,000 square-foot building expands the hospital's emergency department and includes: 58 private emergency room beds, 6 trauma suites, 8 surgical suites, a 36-bed critical care unit, and the ability to expand to 11 stories for future growth.

The Tower saw 245 patients on its first day, and we've been busy ever since!

To share in the celebration, the Methodist Health System Foundation delivered a Party in a Box to each unit within the Tower. We encouraged social sharing with the hashtag#SammonsTurnsOne. We also gave away free snow cones to employees and the community in the afternoon. Here are just a few of the photos we took at the event:
