Methodist Health System Foundation Names Three New Board Members

Today Methodist Health System Foundation announced the addition of three prominent business and community leaders to its board of trustees. James C. Collet with Hersh Family Investments (HFI), Craig A. Albert with Cherry Petersen Landry Albert LLP, and Helen Goblirsch with Heritage Auctions, bring a wealth of experience to help guide the future of Methodist Foundation.

Collet is a managing director for HFI, the family office for the Kenneth A. Hersh family. Prior to his association with HFI, Collet was the founder and CEO of Sheridan Industries, Inc., a private investment firm focused on the acquisition, restructuring, and recapitalization of select middle-market businesses in conjunction with institutional capital sponsors. Often taking a leading operating role in the acquired business, Collet has also served as president and CEO of operating companies in numerous industries. He also served on the Charles A. Sammons Tower Capital Campaign committee. He currently serves on the board of directors for GRP Interests, LLC; PP Technologies, LLC; and Buddy’s Home Furnishings. He is also an active member of the Young Presidents Organization and served on the International Board of Directors from 2007 to 2010. He is a deacon in the Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas. Collet holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees, with distinction, in business administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children.

Albert is a partner and chair of the litigation section at Cherry Petersen Landry Albert LLP. Albert also served on the Charles A. Sammons Tower Capital Campaign committee and on the advisory board of the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science. He also ministered at the Austin Street Shelter. Albert earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors (Plan II) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas. He has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 1994 and the State Bar of North Carolina since 1990. He and his wife, Marti, have five children.

Goblirsch is an executive assistant and auctioneer at Heritage Auction and the Junior League representative on the Methodist Foundation Board of Trustees. Goblirsch served as president of the Cotillion Club of Dallas in 2011 and 2012. She attended boarding schools in Connecticut and college in Minnesota. An avid world traveler, Goblirsch moved to Dallas in 2006.
