Methodist Health System Names Stacy Covitz as Assistant Vice President of External Relations
Methodist Health System announced the selection of Stacy Covitz as Assistant Vice President of External Relations. In this role, Covitz will oversee publications, earned media strategy, and community relations. Covitz began her new role on March 2, 2015.
“Methodist Health System is doing an outstanding job of expanding its brand, relationships, and recognition throughout North Texas and beyond,” said Covitz. “I look forward to joining the team and contributing to Methodist’s further growth and success.”
Before joining Methodist, Covitz was the marketing program manager for Medical City Dallas Hospital and Medical City Children’s Hospital, where she directed marketing, public relations, advertising, social media and community events. Under her leadership, Medical City garnered national attention and media coverage. Other accomplishments include successful launches, promotions, and program rebranding, bringing community partners and patients to the hospital through events, media outreach and advertising. Prior to joining Medical City, Covitz worked as a news producer for nearly 15 years before transitioning to healthcare marketing in 2012.
