Methodist Mansfield Medical Center Green with Envy for Health and Nutrition

Want to learn how to revive your body, have more energy, and learn the best type of foods to fuel your body to look and feel great? Then come to Methodist Mansfield Café on St. Patty’s Day from 11 a.m. to noon and learn how to eat a healthy, balanced diet from registered dietitians!

vegetablesEvery Tuesday in March, Methodist Mansfield dietitians Nakia Mohair, Kate Tompkins, and Valerie Harris discuss fad diets, eating on the run, healthy snacking and much more in the Mansfield café! And while you there, help us fight hunger by donating a non-perishable food item to help stock the Harvesting International Ministry Center’s food bank in Mansfield. Collection boxes are located in the café, lobby, and ED entrances of the hospital. Much needed items include low-sodium canned vegetables, beans, soups and stews, brown rice, peanut or almond butter, fruit canned in juice, whole grain crackers, and granola bars.
