Southlake, Texas - Methodist Southlake Hospital, formerly known as Forest
Park Medical Center at Southlake, is proud to announce it is now a part
of Methodist Health System. The agreement and sale were approved by the
United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas yesterday,
and Methodist Health System took ownership today. Under the experienced
leadership and guidance of Methodist Health System, Methodist Southlake
Hospital will continue to offer an unparalleled healthcare experience
for Southlake residents and surrounding communities. Methodist Health
System’s award-winning health centers and hospitals have served
North Texas since the founding of Methodist Dallas in 1927.
Methodist Southlake Hospital is a multi-specialty facility focused on the
delivery of advanced surgical and procedural care and quality patient
outcomes. Utilizing leading medical technologies and innovative procedural
techniques, the hospital offers treatment options in several specialties,
including bariatrics, orthopedic and spine surgery, plastic surgery, urology,
gastroenterology, endoscopy, otolaryngology (ENT), gynecology, pain management,
general surgery, hand surgery, neurosurgery, breast surgery and podiatry.
These services are offered in unparalleled aesthetics and surroundings
in the 142,000-square-foot hospital featuring 54 private inpatient rooms;
10 family suites; six intensive care rooms; and 12 advanced, fully integrated
operating suites.
