Common Charge Estimates
As required by federal law, Methodist Health System has provided a link to standard charges as reflected in the chargemaster. The chargemaster can be very confusing to patients, and we strongly encourage you to contact a facility financial counselor who can explain your insurance benefits and discounts that may apply to your specific hospital stay.

Chargemaster Files
The Methodist Health System chargemaster can be found below for each campus. The prices listed on the chargemaster frequently do not provide an accurate representation of what a patient will find on their bill. The chargemaster includes each individual item and service with insurance discounts and uninsured discounts applied in the appropriate column. Surgery pricing at Methodist Health System is based on how much time a patient spends in the operating rooms, recovery rooms, as well as other services needed such as labs, drugs, and radiology. To get a more accurate estimate, we recommend that patients utilize the Patient Estimate Tool or contact a Methodist financial counselor to customize an estimate. The customized estimate will include a list of charges for the services generally performed for a specific test, procedure, or surgery and will also apply insurance and unininsured discounts.
