Methodist Health System offers a softer digital mammogram and 3D mammograms. Here are the advantages you will enjoy:

  • Digital images are produced electronically, instead of on film, with a larger viewing area that better accommodates diverse shapes and sizes
  • It's faster and more accurate — images are generated within seconds
  • Images can be magnified and manipulated for optimum clarity
  • All images are double-checked using the ImageChecker® enhanced breast screening technology
  • Electronic images make it easier for consultation among health care specialists and reduce the risk of misplaced or damaged films

The Methodist Health System mobile mammography unit brings advanced breast cancer screening technology along with a friendly, all-female technologist staff to community centers, clinics, businesses, and other locations throughout the Metroplex. Susan G. Komen for the Cure® grant

For the 12th straight year, Methodist Health System has received a grant from the from Dallas County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support screening and diagnostic breast imaging services for uninsured and underserved patients through Methodist's mobile mammography program, as well as women's imaging at Methodist Dallas and Methodist Charlton medical centers.
