Several cancer-related surgeries can be done robotically with the da Vinci® Surgical System, allowing surgeons to operate using only 1 – 2 centimeter incisions, but with greater precision and control than ever before. Methodist Richardson has used the minimally invasive da Vinci robotic surgical system in more than 600 gastrointestinal surgeries.
