Quality Heart Care at Methodist Richardson
Heart Failure Accreditation
Methodist Richardson is among only a handful of hospitals in the state to receive full Heart Failure Accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
Methodist Richardson has demonstrated its expertise and commitment to quality patient care by meeting or exceeding a wide set of stringent criteria and undergoing an onsite review by a team of accreditation review specialists. Methodist Richardson's protocol-driven and systematic approach to patient management allows physicians to reduce time to treatment and decrease their length of stay.
Chest Pain Center Accreditation
Methodist Richardson also holds a Cycle III Chest Pain Center accreditation, the highest level of accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
Accredited Chest Pain Centers must meet or exceed a wide set of criteria – everything from training of emergency personnel to timely diagnosis and treatment of heart attacks. They must also undergo on-site evaluations by a team of reviewers.
