Get your baby started off on the right foot with the caring, supportive staff at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. We help expectant mothers learn more expect during your pregnancy and during childbirth, letting you focus on taking care of the newest member of your family. Our maternity center offers personalized care to help give you the confidence you need to be a great mom.

Whether you’re a first time parent or you’re getting ready to add to your family once more, our team has the experience to give you the support you need, offering maternity care for each step of your pregnancy. We also offer childbirth education courses.

To help your pregnancy carry on as smoothly as possible, we provide:

• Breastfeeding classes
• Childbirth classes
• Labor and delivery facilities
• Level III NICU (neonatal intensive care unit)
• Quiet time where mothers and infants can rest and bond

You are invited to tour the maternity floor at Methodist Richardson. Tours meet in the hospital’s main lobby; use the Women’s Services entrance. (Tour is included with the Prepared Childbirth class.) For the schedule of tours, please visit our online calendar. Registration for the Maternity Tour is required.
