Methodist Charlton Medical Center Awards

The American Heart Association awarded Methodist Charlton its its Get With The Guidelines® Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for Stroke Care in 2019, and its Mission: Lifeline Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for Stroke Care and STEMI Care in 2019. The award recognizes hospitals for “meeting or exceeding guideline therapy recommendations in treating patients presenting with STEMI heart attacks.

Texas Award for Performance ExcellenceMethodist Charlton received an “A” safety rating from The Leapfrog Group®, a national patient safety watchdog, for the 4th consecutive period, in Spring 2020.

The Joint Commission has accredited Methodist Charlton as a Primary Stroke Center and for the following disease specific certifications: chest pain total home and knee replacement and total shoulder replacement.

Texas Award for Performance ExcellenceMethodist Charlton was awarded the The Chest Pain – MI Registry™ Platinum Performance Achievement Award for its success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients by meeting aggressive performance measures.

Commission on Cancer The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer has recognized Methodist Charlton’s cancer programs for their high quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.

The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers recognized the breast care program at Methodist Charlton for its dedication to providing the highest standards of care for patients with diseases of the breast.
