AACVPRThe cardiac rehabilitation program at the Folsom Fitness and Rehabilitation Center at Methodist Dallas has been certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).

In addition to being a community fitness center, the Folsom Fitness and Rehabilitation Center at Methodist Dallas Medical Center offers a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program. This program combines progressive, supervised aerobic exercise, strength training, and lifestyle education to assist people through recovery from a cardiovascular event/procedure with a goal of helping patients restore and maintain optimal health while helping to reduce the risk of future heart problems.

The multidisciplinary cardiac rehabilitation team at the Folsom Fitness Center consists of a medical director, behavioral scientist, cardiac rehab and fitness specialists, as well as registered dietitians, pharmacists, and chaplains.
