Care for Complicated Pregnancies at Methodist Dallas Medical Center

For women with medical conditions or other factors that can complicate pregnancy, specialized care is available through the Center for Maternal and Fetal Medicine operated by Physicians Associates of Southwest Dallas.

This pregnancy care may be especially helpful for women with:

• Heart disease
• High blood pressure
• Diabetes
• A multiple pregnancy (twins or more)
• A history of miscarriage or premature birth
• A high risk for passing on genetic disease

Your obstetrician can refer you to the Center for Maternal and Fetal Medicine at any time during your pregnancy. A dedicated staff is ready to provide specialized tests and treatments as well as genetic counseling.
